D005→ Ippon Judo


A range of promotional posters I created for the ‘Ippon Judo’ competition, in various design styles. This was an interesting challenge to utilise the same images and designs in creative ways.
All images were taken by me.

        

 

This was the selected poster series.
The geometric shapes are based on the judo tatamis which are laid out in various configurations depending on the type of competition or training.


Other variations were designed and closely considered, which are shown below. 

   

         

        

       

     

  


I was able to try out various styles with the main typeface being variations of Helvetica.
