P004→ The animated life of Arthur Humberstone
An exhibition celebrating the life and work of Arthur Humberstone.
I worked with a small team of 3 to put together an exhibition celebrating the work of Arthur Humberstone, using pieces from his children’s personal archive. We created everything, from brand guidelines and animations to floor plans and all the little details in between. One of my favorite ideas was adding life-sized cardboard cutouts throughout the space to make it feel immersive and playful.
The exhibition ran from March 7th to April 5th, 2025, at the HPO Gallery in Sheffield. We chose this location because Humberstone was local to the area, making it the perfect place to celebrate his work.
Our work on the exhibition was even featured by the BBC! They wrote an article celebrating the project and all the effort that went into bringing it to life — check it out here. It’s amazing to see it get recognition and share Humberstone’s story with a wider audience.

A huge thank you to Klive and Nigel Humberstone for sharing their dad’s collection with us, to Tim Machin for his help in bringing it all together, to James Morris for leading the design, and to the rest of the team, Kaylin Staller and Jane Kim, for being amazing to work with!
